Fletcher Moss Rangers

News

On Friday evening our ‘Better Things’ Adult sides played their first fixtures in the ‘Ability Counts Legaue’ played at Salford Village. We were able to field two 5 aside teams. They were in a division that had FC United, Bury FC and U Can FC. Both our sides also played each other too. During the evening the first team scored 23 times and conceeded only 8. The reserves scored 19 goals and let in a mere 7 (5 of those against the first team). A Massive well done to Alicia who kept clean sheets all the games she played in. Philip and Zoltan did well scoring 10 goals each but top scorer was our very own Tim with 11.  Well done to all the players, you had done Fletcher Moss proud.

We were able to get the soccer school on for the first time in 2015 and we had a brilliant turn out with 9 new faces registering. Welcome to all our new signings, hope we will see you next week.

The club is moving on with their plans to secure a long term lease and serious funding to develop the site for us and the community. We need people with specialist skills in conveyancing, legal skills, surveying, building, building design, architects, public relations etc to help move forward. Would any of our members be willing to give up some time to benefit the club and build a more secure organisation.
