The under 7's did well again today winning all 3 games against; Broadheath. AFC Urmston Meds and coming from 2 nil down against a tough Unicorn side and winning.
A wonder goal from Jake, a left foot volley and some tricky footwork from Luke who got the winner after Kian's shot rebounded off the Unicorn defender.
A good team performance with Ben solid in defence and keeper Matthew in good form.

Our under 7's continued to improve. It was the Under 7's turn to visit the JJB this weekend and their opponents were Irlam Rangers, Unicorn A and  Wythenshawe Town.
The squad won 2 and drew 1 which is the best set of results they have had yet. The players voted to be man of the match in each game were; Kian, Ben and Niall.
Next weekend the under 8's colts play at the JJB.

Fletcher had a good win over Irlam Rangers today. Jake Atherton captained the side to a two games 2 -1 win. Luke Merrill was named MOM also with good improved alround performaces from Kian Sherlock and keeper Mathew Rigney. The under 7 s Beavers also came out on top with Ben keeping a safe goal for the beavers. Good performances from Josh & Jack at the back and Niall hitting the goals as the Beavers also won 2 games to 1. The 7 play at home again on Sunday morning 10am against top side NJ Wythenshawe. |
