End of Season Lads v Dads PDF Print E-mail

The most eagerly awaited game of our season took place on the hottest day of the year so far, we arrived early with the dads limbering up and the lads laughing at their attempts to look good in shorts. The lads had their squad sorted and were taking shots on each other, while the dads were arguing who goes in goal!!!. 11 keepers i think not.

Macclesfield Gain is Fletchers Loss PDF Print E-mail

Today we saw Suh-Awa Fusi play his last game for Fletcher in a hard fought draw against Deans.
Suh-Awa has been our team captain and player for the last four years and has played every position within the team and always given 100% every time he has played.
He has just signed a two year contract with Maccelsfield Town.
The whole team would like to wish him the best of luck on his new journey I would also like to thank mum & dad Pamela and Joel for thier support and loyalty over the last four years

Goalkeeper Wanted for Under 12's PDF Print E-mail

The under 12's have recently lost another goalkeeper to a pro club. The first was signed to Stockport County last season and this week Bury enlisted the keeper as of this moment. This leaves the management having to play an outfield player between the sticks. If there are any budding Pter Chec's out their who would like to play in a successful team and are willing to work hard, please contact John 07951 759 691
 
Connor Keane signs for Bury FC PDF Print E-mail

Connor Keane joined Fletcher Moss Rangers in March 2004, where he was seen training at the Soccer School (Academy) practicing his skills.
He played out of goals for the first three seasons scoring goals on a regular basis. CK did like to take a turn between the sticks while playing for his school team St Johns.
The manager of the Under 12's asked him if he would play in goals, as his first choice keeper Paul Harrison in 2006 had just signed papers for Stockport County FC. and Connor filled in from 2007. It was not long before scouts were coming from far and wide to watch his performances.
Bury FC were the first club to commit their faith in him and have pledged to a 2 year contract. Now for the second time in as many seasons John & Ray have lost a top quality goalkeeper to a pro club.
All Connors team mates, Managers, Supporter and the entire club would like to wish him all the very best for the future.
