The Academy's first Saturday back in 2010 was a great event with loads of boys and girls turning up. The sun shone brightly and all the coaches had loads of fun too.

The teams had mixed results both Saturday and Sunday the best result of the weekend was the ladies reserves 8 nil win. One of our 16's eventually won through the next round of the county cup after the farce earlier this month. The other team still needs to prove themselves yet again to the authorities, WHY. Good news for our 13's in the same competition though they too won through after a penalty shoot out.

First game of 2010, at home to Sale United. Finally, no snow on the pitch.

A nightmare now for coach and for match reporters alike! Debut game for Jack Ryan.

Eh? Pardon? Hasn’t Jack Ryan being playing all season?

Well, we now have two Jack Ryan’s, so a big welcome to the squad for Jack Alexander (?) Ryan, forthwith to be known as Jack A (as distinct from Jack T for our existing JR, and Jack M for Jack Mathews). Three Jacks - most of the way to a full house!

"The FA Charter Standard Community Club status"
